About Dr. Keisari

Efraim J. Keisari, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Forensic Psychiatrist based on Long Island, New York.

Dr. Keisari graduated college from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in Chemistry and minored in Global Health. He earned his Medical Degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Keisari went to the University of Connecticut School of Medicine to complete four years of specialty training in Psychiatry. While at the University of Connecticut, he served as the Chief Resident of Education.

After specialty training in Psychiatry, Dr. Keisari completed additional training in the sub-specialty of Forensic Psychiatry at Brown University. Dr. Keisari trained with leaders in the field and developed an expertise in civil and criminal matters relating to adults, adolescents, and children.

Dr. Keisari has a passion for teaching medicine and psychiatry. He has taught and mentored numerous medical students, psychiatry residents, PhD candidates, master's students, and others in the medical field.

Dr. Keisari is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is licensed to practice medicine in New York, Rhode Island, and Florida.

Dr. Keisari is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Keisari is fluent in English and Spanish.
